Mr. Irfan Merchant has been affiliated with the Textiles sector for over 35 years and has worked in the Denim Garments
and Fabric Industry for over 20 years. As Managing Partner of S.M. Traders, he was awarded By The Federation of Pakistan
Chambers of Commerce & Industry's Top Exporters of the Year trophy Five Times from Year 1991 to 1994 and 1998 to 2000.
He has previously Served as Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Knitwear & Sweater Exporters Association in the year 2010 and
is also an active contributing member of the Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association, S.I.T.E.
Association, Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association, All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills
Association, and Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Pakistan Denim Manufacturers and Exporters Association.
Now he has been Selected as Chairman of PAKISTAN DENIM MANUFACTURERS & EXPORTERS ASSOCIATION FOR the YEARS 2024-26
